Moms are my business. I started Love You Sew with all the products I personally wanted but couldn’t find most of these items readily available…or they were non-existent like my breathable car seat cover. So I started sewing and selling. It’s all of you who have made my business grow. I’ve met so many of you incredible moms out there…from one emailing me questions from the NICU to one ordering for quadruplets! I’m so grateful for you and want to say thanks!!!
To celebrate all the moms out there, I’m offering $50 shop credit to TWO entrants. Each person will get $50 to spend either in my Etsy shop or for any other custom sewing. This includes dresses, pouches, tablet covers, quilts and more!
The credit is fully transferable…so you can enter in behalf of your favorite mom too! Wouldn’t that be an awesome surprise?!?
{Edit} I’ve added this post to Sew Mama Sew‘s Giveaway Day/Week! Head over to her blog to see all of the other goodies you can win. What a great way to enter a bunch of awesome giveaways in one spot, right??? I saw fabric, bags, and even long-arm quilting! 😍😍😍

What makes Mother’s Day special to me….I am a stay at home mom so I am with my son (2 in June) 24/7 but honestly, I just look forward to spending Mother’s Day with him- no gifts needed. Only thing that could make it better is if I could be with my mom (and family)- she is amazing, I have learned so much for her! Happy Mother’s Day to you Cristy!
What makes Mother’s Day special to me… My husband does the dishes. Best gift ever.
what makes mothers day special to me… it’s just a wonderful excuse to spoil my mum and let her know how much i love and appreciate her! she’s just awesome!
I love all of your stuff Cristy! Can’t wait to see some of your summer designs!!
Congrats on the new website.
I’m looking forward to breakfast in bed for Mother’s Day. It probably won’t happen, but I can dream.
What makes mother’s day so special for me is getting to spend the day celebrating my mom, as well as being celebrated! I also love what my daughter made at school, so cute!
Welcome to your new blog! Are you in Columbus? I saw you tagged Sew to Speak! Anyway, I have a new baby so this mother’s day she will make it special.
Thank you! Yes, I’m in Cbus and congrats 🙂
I am too! I’m in the columbus modern quilting group you should come sometime!
What makes is special to me is that I can always count on my 2 kids to stop their worlds long enough to take me to lunch or something. Life is so crazy and complicated these days, that sometimes it flies by and we dont’ even know it. But nice to know they will give me one day a year…no matter what!

Mother’s Day…for years my kids have been making me a picnic spread for Mother’s Day…a feast to enjoy outside in our back yard. Some years it’s peanutbutter and a bit of sand…but oh so tasty made by little hands…Which are not so little anymore…
What do I love about Mother’s Day? Feeling special! And I also like having a day where I can stop any bickering with “Hey! This is MY day! No fighting.” 😉
Mothers day as it is a day to devote entirely to just “Mom” and let her know how special she is.
This year Mother’s Day is very special because I’m pregnant.
Hugs!
My family always treats me to something special… Whether it is something that they do for me, or if they take me out, or simply let me do whatever is my pleasure!! Thanks for the chance!!! This would be awesome to win!!
What makes mothers day special is getting the family together.
I have signed up for your newsletter!!! Now I am heading back to your shop to check it out!!
Love having a special day with Mom
My mom raised six kids and always made sure that we had everything we could need (and many many of the things we wanted). Its nice to have a specific time that all of us can shower her with thanks all at once 🙂
signed up for your Newsletter too 🙂 Thanks for chance to win you r Awesome Give-a-way!
What makes Mother’s Day special for me, is to hear from our grown Kiddo;s…and getting Hugs from the ones that live close enough to come spend the day! 🙂
this isn’t for me but l enjoy seeing new mommies enjoying their first Mother’s Day. I am blessed this year with 2 special first time mommies!
I love that it gives me a moment to appreciate the Mom’s in my life and the opportunity that I have to be one.
Oooh, that quilted hoop necklace is beautiful!
What makes mother’s day special for me is getting to spend some quality time with my mum and for her to have a great time with her kids and grandkids too. I’m especially feeling the need for that after losing my dad a few years ago – have got to treasure every moment we have.
Mother’s Day is special to me because I am so lucky to be a mom and to have my mom still around!
My four children make Mother’s Day special for me.
Mother’s Day is special to me because it is the only day a year where I get to relax and enjoy a day full of free time, while my family takes care of me & my responsibilities. They sure do appreciate me more afterward!
My 2 little girls make mother’s day special. This year, we have to travel Saturday and Sunday to see respective mothers, so I don’t really get a day for me. Worth it? Maybe? Thanks for the giveaway!
This year will be bittersweet. Last year there was a little one in my life, so I was sort of a stepmom, and this year there isn’t. Without sharing details, my boyfriend and I are beyond sad and will be spending this Mother’s Day and definitely this Father’s Day healing. (Sorry to be so gloomy – it’s just what comes to mind this time ’round!). Thanks for the chance to win.
Mother’s Day was always special to me because I have a wonderful mother and grandmothers. It is even more special to me now that I am a mother myself. My daughter makes everything worth it. 🙂
Mother’s Day is special because of my three crazy munchkins!
Being made to feel special!
Now that I am a mum, I totally understand what Mother’s Day is all about …. you have to experience the tiredness, the heartache, the tears to enjoy the full joy of being a mother.
It’s when I’m recognized as a valuable human being and woman.
Mother’s Day keeps becoming more special as my daughters grow into adults and our relationship matures.
Two of my children were born on Mothers Day – I feel very blessed every year at this time!
I love seeing my children and now a grand child at any time, but guaranteed to see them on Mother’s Day which is a bonus.
I personally thinkg that mother’s day has become one huge commercial thing and I don’t like it. I don’t have any kids myself, but I am blessed to have my mum around (because my dad left us way too young) and just because there is a day that is called Mother’s Day, doesn’t mean that I love her any less on any of the other days and I think you should cherish and worship her throughout the year. So I do not limit little gifts or my love to just that one day. But throughout the year 🙂
Thanks for the chance to win!
It’s a chance to stop and honor all women, past and present for what they do everyday. They influence our lives in so many ways, we need only look around.
Mother Day is special not only as a mother, but as a grandmother & godmother. I am so blessed to have my mother living who will be 90 years old in August. She has taught me the true meaning of life
loving God & giving to other less fortunate.
my babies were born so early/little so it’s a miracle I even have them. I cherish every day I have with them.
Love to go to the coffee shop, get small presets and card from my daughter.Lovely giveaway so generous of you.Have a lovely weekend.
Well, my son, usually does tell me happy Mother’s Day. That’s all I need. thank you, peterstankovich@comcast.net
I signed up for your newsletter. Really loving that quilted necklace in the embroidery hoop! thank you, peterstankovich@comcast.net
My mother, and fresh strawberry shortcake.
My husband works a lot of Sundays, but he always makes sure to take Mother’s Day off. Getting to spend the day with my husband and my kids is the best, and they always make sure I get my favorite breakfast treat–cinnamon rolls!
My 2 kids make Mothers Day special.
Mother’s Day is special to be because being a mom is the best part of my life. It’s just a celebration of that. Thank you
My children!
My sons try to be SO quiet sneaking into our room in the morning to bring breakfast in bed – at 5 and 7 quiet is impossible but they are so sweet and earnest about it!
Mother’s Day is special to me because it reminds me that I am a link in the chain of the generations — I celebrate my mother and everything she still does for me (helping me raise my children while I work) as well as the connection I share with my own kids. We are like beads on a string.
Having my kids home makes mothers day special to me!
Sharing my love for my mother and all she has done for me is what makes mothers day special to me. I don’t live by her but I always love talking to her on the phone at least.
Mother’s Day is twice as good, since I added a wonderful mother in law. I only wish I lived closer to both, so I could take them to brunch. And as I get older… I realize how much my mom gave of herself to make my life better!
I’m looking forward to not having to cook. 🙂
Well, I have a goddaughter this year, so I’m n the “mom” category now too!
I always loved Mother’s day because it gave me a chance to show my Mom how much I love her.
Thank you for the chance to win!
Mother’s day is a good reminder to appreciate your mom. Reminders to appreciate things are special.
Spending time with my husband and kids
On Mother’s Day I love seeing how my daughters can’t wait to give me their handmade presents! I absolutely adore receiving these gifts and finding a special place in the house to put them on show!
Mother’s Day is special to me because its a day to honor mothers specially my own. As i am a new mother myself, I am starting to have an understanding of the high calling of motherhood.
This will only be my second mother’s day… so it is still a new thing to me. Every day is special when you are a mommy though! (and often tiring, messy, and frustrating as well)
I think making something by hand for mothers day is always special. From the cards you make when you’re in school to (hopefully) more sophisticated things now! x
Mother’s Day is kind of bittersweet for me. I lost all my mothers (Mom, step-mom, and MIL). But my 4 kids and their better halfs make my day. 🙂

My sweet, cheery children make Mother’s Day, and every day, pretty special.
Getting to sleep in and not having any kids dis fighting all day!
Remembering my mom.
Four year old Rayelle and one-year old Burke.
Being with my children was the best Mother’s Day for me – now they are grown and we have 5 grandchildren and so it is nice to be with our daughters if possible or to talk on the phone with them – I also love cards – no gift required but I do like cards.
Pauline
I love spending time with my family . On Mother’s Day all the generations get together that’s what makes it so special
At least getting to talk to all of my grown children who are spread out across the country.
I have 2 amazing little boys. What more do I need?
What makes Mother’s Day special is realizing how blessed I have been to have the privilege of being a mom, by both birth and adoption. And how blessed I was to have a mom who truly loved me and kept me safe, unselfishly provided for my needs even when I was ungrateful, and who I had for 86 years.
Being appreciated by my family is important to me!
Having my girls home and spending the day laughing together.
Mother’s Day is special because I can still tell my Mom how much I love her. Thank you for your generous giveaway!
Mother’s day is special because my children are so special to me. Your shop looks great…off to check it out!
I love to be with my family on Mother’s day! We normally go to the park and have a picnic and let the kids get dirty catching crawdads!
I love my mom and mother in law. I am so blessed to have them in my life!
My three beautiful girls!
I love giving all my moms and friends who are moms plants to thank them for all they do
Mother’s Day has significance in my relationship with my mother-in-law… we continue to grow together.
mandiprout80 @ gmail (dot) com
I like Mothers Day because I can give my mom lots of extra hugs ‘just because’!
I love my darling husband making breakfast with the children so I can have half an hour of uninterrupted laziness in bed! If i’m super lucky I even get a newspaper to read.
Getting to spend Mother’s Day with my two littles is special.
I am blessed to still have my mum & also to be a mum but I know not everyone who had a mum still does and that not everyone who wants to be a mum gets to be. My hubby’s mum died when he was only 14. I have friends who have not been blessed with children in their lives so I find mothers day a little conflicting.
I enjoy taking the time to celebrate my mum who is an amazing woman who deserves to be celebrated everyday. I am a mother of 2 beautiful daughters and I am not opposed to hubby cooking a nice dinner and taking some time with the girls to spoil me. Tomorrow we will spend the day together as a family with my sister and her kids doing what I love most – just being with my family, eating good food, playing games and enjoying each others company. My ideal day no matter what we are celebrating.
having lost my mum when i was 10, mothers day was always hard for me, especially at school being forced to make cards and gifts etc, being told, well just do it anyway!!!! but now i have kids of my own, mothers day is again a good day, so anything with them is special, even burnt toast and soggy cereal is wicked 🙂
I think that just being around your kids makes any day special and it makes Mother’s Day extra special!
Having a day where they get to be sweeter than usual and heap you with kisses is bliss.
Thank you for the generous giveaway!
I love being spoiled rotten.. LOL I’m selfish.. But my kids get so excited they spend weeks planning presents.
What makes Mother’s Day special for me is how excited my children are about surprising me, and the wonderful things they write on the cards and signs they bring home from school.
Thank you for the generous giveaway, so lovely to have found your blog.

Mother’s day is special for me because my mom is the most special person in my life.
It is a chance to remind your mum of how much she is appreciated!
Spending the day with my children makes it special. And not having to cook . . .
For me, it’s looking back at who made me a mother! Each little face. Each little soul that God blessed me with. The things they have thought me about myself, when I thought I was the one giving the lesson! Lol And realizing ways in which I can grow, for each of my children, as a mother. I look at Mother’s Day as a time to remind my mother how blessed and proud I am to have called her Mommy. It’s about the women who sacrificed daily to give us the things they denied themselves. The life that our mothers were determined to give us. Mother’s Day is about LIFE!
This mother’s day weekend has been special because we have spent it having a backyard campout as a family. I have really enjoyed having so much time to relax together!
Mother’s day is special because I get pampered by my hubby 🙂
Thank you for this generous giveaway! Mother’s Day is special to me because my four-year-old granddaughter and I have so much fun making gifts for her mother. Thanks again!
Mother´s Day is special because I usually get lovely artwork from my little daughter 😉 And we tend to spend the day crafting away 🙂 And eat too much candy 😉
Thank you for the chance and have an amazing Mother´s Day yourself as well!!!
Mother’s Day is special to me, because it is a day that we always spend together as a family!! I love knowing that at least for one day, everyone will be together!!
As a mom I love being “special” for the day 🙂 and the things my kids make me are awesome!!!
I lost my mom a few years ago, so now mother’s day is just a little sad for me. But I always try to cook one of her recipes to remember her.
Mother’s day is special just knowing that my boys are off finding a little something to make me smile. 🙂
Time with my family crafting is the best gift for m-day 🙂
My children’s efforts to make it a special day. <3
My three daughters make mothers day special to me. One of them is even a mom now.
Mother’s Day is special because of my two girls! They make every day an exhausting adventure. Thanks for the giveaway!

My mothers day is special to me because my kids try to make this day all about me. They make me breakfast, clean up without asking and make me handmade gifts and cards that I adore.

I love Mother’s Day because it reinforces the fact that I have a wonderful son and family
Thanks for a great giveaway! I would have to say that Mother’s Day is special because its a chance to recognize mothers all over – mothers through adoption, mother-like figures, and (of course) biological mothers. Its a day to recognize just how special and meaningful they are to our lives.
Mother’s Day is special to me because I get to be with my kids and get extra snuggles 🙂
This Mother’s Day is special to me because it is my first one. I am so lucky to have a baby to make me a mom!

I like making my mom feel special.
